A few mixed media techniques are used to create the background on the back board - Image Transfer, Crackle Paste, Color Rouging and Stenciling.
The background technique of the three squares is a crackle effect; achieved with DecoArt's Weathered Wood and then a stenciled starfish before the lighthouse designs.
